Dear Staff and Community,

The Lemon Grove School District and Lemon Grove Teachers Association are pleased to announce that we entered into a tentative agreement on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 5:00pm. The agreement includes Article 16 Salary, Article 9 Leaves, Article 10 Evaluations, Article 13 Safety, Article 14 Hours, Article 17 Health Benefits, Article 18 Early Retirement Benefits, and Article 19 Retirement Health Benefits.

For 2017-2018, 3% shall be applied to the certificated salary schedules (teacher, nurse, speech and language, psychologist and preschool) as follows: 2% applied effective 7/1/17 and 1% applied effective 7/1/18.

Professional development is an important part of ensuring students receive the highest quality instruction. The teacher work year will be increased and additional compensation will be made for additional days. For 2018-2019, the professional development days will be held on Aug. 20, 2018, Jan. 7, 2019, and April 8, 2019.

Student achievement is of the utmost importance in Lemon Grove School District. We are pleased to have come to this agreement with our Teacher's Association.

Yours in Education,

Dr. Kimberly Berman

Local Control Accountability Plan
Parent and Community Member Survey

In an effort to provide the best possible learning experience for the children of Lemon Grove, the Lemon Grove School District is continuously seeking the involvement of parents and community members in the development of the
Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). This plan, which determines the ways in which state funds are spent in California schools, is a living document which guides decision-making at the schools.
